ISAIAH 51:6 "the earth will wear out like a garment"
Revelation 11:18 "And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
ISAIAH 24:3-5 "The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant."
Psalm 102:25-26 "Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment”
"For the time will come when people will not put up
with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires,
they will gather around them a great number of teachers
to say what their itching ears want to hear."
2 Timothy 4:3, NIV
“There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment
of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder,
stealing and adultery; they break all bounds,
and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
Because of this the land dries up,
and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field,
the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea are swept away.
Hosea 4:1-3
Daniel 12:4 'But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.

Bible In One Year
Day 2
'Am I my brother’s keeper?’ ([Genesis]v.9b). Cain wanted to avoid responsibility. He was saying, ‘Do I really have responsibility for anyone other than myself?’The biblical answer is that you do have responsibility for others. We cannot exempt ourselves from responsibility for what is happening around us – in our city, nation and the world. For example, we cannot accept that thousands of children die every day as a result of extreme poverty and simply say, ‘It’s not our responsibility.’Not only do you have responsibility towards your fellow human beings, but it is your privilege to bring blessing and joy to your friends, family and all those around you, and to make a difference in the lives of as many people as possible.
Day 1
'The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it’ ([Genesis]2:15). Work is part of God’s good creation – not a result of the fall. This passage also reminds us that taking care of the environment is right at the heart of God’s plan for human beings.
Day 6
The church is blessed, like Abraham and Israel, not for its own sake but in order to bring blessing to the whole world. If you have been blessed by God, it is not for your own selfish indulgence or self-congratulation; it is in order that you can be a blessing to others.
To Arocha
Gumbel told the charity how his own thinking had changed on the issue of the environment: ‘I’ve done a lot of thinking about the whole subject of the environment: about how this world is in serious trouble and how Christians should be at the forefront of the environmental cause and movement.
